1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, installing, or using the Karivia platform, whether via mobile application or website (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are strictly prohibited from using the Platform and must discontinue use immediately.

Karivia acts as a digital concierge, connecting discerning clients with premium salon and beauty professionals. These Terms govern your access to and use of this service.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform.
• Karivia reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or if you violate these Terms.

3. Platform Services

Karivia provides a platform that facilitates the booking of beauty and wellness services ("Services") between users ("Clients") and independent professionals or salons ("Providers").

Disclaimer of Liability: Karivia does not directly provide these Services. We do not employ the Providers. While we strive to curate a premium network, we do not guarantee the quality, suitability, safety, or ability of any Provider. Any decision by a Client to accept Services from a Provider is a decision made in such Client's sole discretion.

4. Booking & Cancellations

When you book a Service through the Platform, you are entering into a direct contract with the Provider. Karivia acts solely as an intermediary to facilitate the transaction.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will incur no penalty.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the Service cost, as determined by the specific Provider's policy displayed at the time of booking.
• "No-shows" will be charged 100% of the scheduled Service cost.

5. Payments & Fees

You agree to pay all charges associated with the Services you book. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider. Karivia may charge a platform convenience fee, which will be clearly disclosed to you prior to confirming your booking.

All prices for Services are set by the respective Providers and are subject to change. However, once a booking is confirmed, the price for that specific appointment is locked.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, functionality, and design elements (including the minimalist luxury aesthetic, typography, and specific layout) are owned by Karivia and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Platform without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL KARIVIA, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, COVER OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, SALES, GOODWILL, USE OF CONTENT, IMPACT ON BUSINESS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY) HOWEVER CAUSED, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY, BREACH OF STATUTORY DUTY, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF THE LIABLE PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED AS TO THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR COULD HAVE FORESEEN SUCH DAMAGES.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Platform after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
